Account and household

You get one personal account and are responsible for keeping your login details secure. A household can have several members, and you can belong to several households (for example home and the summer house). You may only create households for real households — do not share invite codes publicly.

Free and Premium

On the free plan, each household can use 5 photo analyses, 5 meal suggestions and 5 recipe imports per month. Premium removes those limits and is paid for by the household owner.

• Monthly: €3.99 per household per month (in Denmark 29 kr.).
• Yearly: €38 per household per year (in Denmark 279 kr.).
• Lifetime: €69 once (in Denmark 499 kr.) for the household's Premium, for as long as the service exists.

All prices include VAT and are the prices shown in the app. Prices for new subscriptions may change with notice; your existing subscription is not affected until it renews.

Payment and cancellation

Payments are handled by Stripe. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime under Settings → Manage subscription; access continues until the end of the paid period and unused time is not refunded. The lifetime plan is a one-time payment. You keep the withdrawal and consumer rights Danish law gives you.

Fair use

To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone, daily limits apply per household: 100 photo scans, 50 recipe imports and 50 meal suggestions per day. These limits are far beyond what a normal household needs, but they stop scripts and automated abuse. Serious or repeated abuse can lead to your account being closed.

AI and content

Suggestions, categories, imported recipes and translations are AI-generated and can contain errors. Estimated expiry dates are guidance only — always check the food yourself before eating it. You are responsible for cooking and food safety.

Your content

Your photos, recipes and lists belong to you. We process them only to run the service — see the privacy policy. Recipes you share to the inspiration pool are shared anonymised without personal information, and you can remove them again.

Taking care of the service

• Only upload images of food and freezer contents — not other kinds of images.
• Do not use scripts, bots or automated tools against the service.
• Do not create accounts or households to abuse the free quota.

Operation and availability

The service is provided 'as is'. We work hard to keep it available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or retire features. Significant changes are announced in the app or by email.

Liability

To the extent Danish law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service within the last 12 months.

Law and disputes

The agreement is governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts. As a consumer you may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform or complain to consumer authorities.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always available at freezerhero.com/terms. By continuing to use the app after a change, you accept the updated version.
