Add Freezer Hero to your home screen

Freezer Hero runs in the browser, so there is nothing to download from an app store. In under a minute you can place it on the home screen, where it opens full screen like any other app.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

This only works in Safari. If you use Chrome on iPhone, open the page in Safari first.

    Open freezerhero.com in Safari

    Type the address in Safari, or tap the link from a message.

    Tap the share button

    The square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen (or top right on iPad).

    Choose “Add to Home Screen”

    Scroll a little down the list of options to find it.

    Tap “Add”

    The Freezer Hero icon now sits on your home screen and opens without the browser bar.

Android (Chrome)

Samsung Internet and Firefox work the same way — the menu wording is just slightly different.

    Open freezerhero.com in Chrome

    Type the address, or tap the link from a message.

    Tap the menu with three dots

    Top right in Chrome. Some phones show an install icon in the address bar instead.

    Choose “Install app” or “Add to home screen”

    The wording depends on your phone and Chrome version.

    Confirm

    The icon is added, and Freezer Hero opens full screen like a normal app.

Why bother?

From the home screen the app opens in one tap, fills the whole screen and keeps you signed in — handy when you are standing in front of the freezer with cold hands.
